Pours a murky brownish black with small tan head even from an aggressive pour, not much lacing only spotty.
Aroma is sweet light roasted notes chocolate and coffee showing through defiantly pick up on the lactose, really sweet smelling for a low abv stout.
Taste is not as nice as the nose which smelled smooth roasted and creamy, taste more like the low abv this stout is. Light chocolate lightly sweet but again not as nice as the aroma makes it seem, light roasted coffee notes more like cold brewed light stuff so they have that part right anyway. But this is brewed to be a light summer in Arizona drinkable stout so guess they got what they were going for.
Mouthfeel is lighter side of medium by a fair margin plus the light feel is helped by the ample carbonation.
Overall smells yummy otherwise guess light stouts aren't my cup of tea. But again think they hit the mark if that's what they wanted.

Smells awesome, but looks really light. Unfortunately, the taste follows the look. Almost a session stout, if that were a thing. Too bad, more body like the smell and it would be great.

An interesting Coffee Stout with distinct coffee flavors and aroma, mild chocolate bitterness and lightly sweet malt finish. Great as a paired beer, breakfast stout or after dinner with pipe/cigar. Good style color. Mouthfeel is smaller than some in the style. Overall, nice beer.

Pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Smells of coffee, chocolate, and roasted malts. Tastes of strong coffee, semi sweet chocolate, and roasted malts. Medium in both body and carbonation. Overall a very tasty stout.

its good, but not great. really bland taste, not a whole lot going on.
