Part of a "Dan's Jams" series of different fruited beers, each with different fruitedness. This is already no longer listed on their website so I don't know what berries are featured in the multi-berry blend.
The crowler pours rose-colored and medium-hazy with a nice white head.
The aroma is organic berries and a nice, chewy yeastiness that's reminiscent of New Glarus' exquisite fruit beers. The berry aroma smells like fruit leather--nothing exaggerated or ersatz. And there's still enough yeastiness to clearly distinguish this as a beer... something many contemporary fruit beers neglect.
The flavor is very good, though not as great as the aroma. Medium sour organic berries up front, nice tartness without being cloying, moving into a sweeter middle, and then a back end and finish that are sweet cereal grains with just a wee bit of berry tartness. Not as full bodied as a my favorite fruit beers but still impressive throughout.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
