On tap at Brewpub.
The appearance was a pure black color with a small off white foamy head that swiftly slid off to leave some wispy lace.
The aroma had some sweet oaty to milk and dark chocolatey malts, sly bitterness with a delicate roast, light sweet coffee.
The flavor mildly leaned towards the sweet side meshing some oats with chocolate and coffee. Super nice aftertaste of coffee, milk chocolate, some dark chocolate, dark toast and oats.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. The ABV was somewhat low but substantial enough to be level with what the brewer suggested - in turn - good. Good carbonation and a nice smooth finish with oats, milk chocolate, dark chocolate and a tickle of coffee.
Overall, very nicely done oatmeal stout. Definitely would come back to.

Looks very good with a creamy sheen of lacing coating the sides. Served a bit cold and it's more creamy in flavor than bitter though it has a decent edge in the finish. Still, the body was quite light and not as robust for the style.
