This is Standard's top selling beer, I'm told. It's a better than average IPA, mostly, with one flaw to me, a metallic aftertaste that is an unpleasant surprise. Overall, it's still good but I'd have the beer higher except for that.

Poured from a crowler into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with coppery tones and a one finger, white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and piney hops, grapefruit, lemon, a little orange, light mixed tropical fruit. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and piney hops, grapefruit, lemon, yuzu, pine, hints of mixed tropical fruit. Finishes with citrus rind and lightly resinous pine hops. Medium bodied with light creaminess and sharp carbonation. The aroma got me ready for a solid caramel malt, but this has a lighter, brighter malt body. The hop bill is classic West Coast hops with lots of citrus and some pine, but suggestions of tropical fruit. While I would have liked a little bigger body, this is listed as a light bodied IPA, and does have a malt character that leans to a pale ale. The hops are great and made this a hoppy, citrusy and refreshing IPA, big enough to border on an imperail one.
