Beer collaboration between Uberbrew and Pinky and the Floyd
Served on tap at Old Chicago in Bozeman in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a hazy pink color with a big head of fizzy white foam. The head has good retention, slowly fading over time to leave a decent sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of a big raspberry smell mixed with some wheat. Along with these aromas comes some notes of apple, lemon, and very light grassy/herbal smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice crisp raspberry flavor that has notes of wheat and a hint of herb. As the taste advances a little bit of lemon and some more floral and grassy tastes come to the tongue. In the end with a hint of graininess and a little bit of an almost seedy taste, one is left with a crisp raspberry wheat flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the lighter side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a higher level of carbonation. For the nice raspberry flavors mixed with the malt and light sour, it makes for a very enjoyably easy sipping and refreshing feel.
Overall – I rather enjoyed this brew. It had a nice raspberry flavor without being over the top in sweetness. Quite well done overall.
