Unknown vintage; drank 7/1/15 @ Fountainhead.
Murky strawberry appearance.
Minimal white head; nice lace.
Honeyed wheat, strawberry & fresh-cut grass notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Honeyed wheat & strawberry flavors up front; fresh-cut grass on the finish.
Honey sweetness settled on my lips over the course of the session.
A delicious, balanced treat; I'd love to have another!

A nice addition to the slightly upper end fruit beer market, where sweetness is well balanced with sour and bitter notes. The It is fruit juice-like on pouring, and the head is minimal and soon wanes. To my nose it is cherry and pear on the nose, with some blackberry evident. The taste is fruity and the initial sweetness is countered by a late acid finish. A lovely beer; perhaps more funk would help boost it.

Treated as a fruit beer, this was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a fair dark pink/mahogany sort of red color with a finger's worth of semi-white to almost pink foamy head that slid off fairly slow.
The aroma had some sweet to tart blueberries, black cherries (slight sour edge to them), white pear, sweet dark bread, allspice, some blackberries and red raspberries.
The flavor took all of those previously mentioned aromas to bring them together - sweetly and pulling a light sour to semi-tart brisk edge. Subtle honey. Firm tart to sweet yet semi-sour aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied as it seemed to sit just a touch under and having a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV did feel appropriate.
Overall, interesting fruit beer as it doesn't have just one specific fruit coming about - it's a blend and seemed to pull in some Belgian bready flavors which means I guess I should have opted for a tulip for this (slapping my hand at the moment, next time, though).

Purply brown and somewhat hazy with no visible carbonation but a beautify brownish purple foamy head.
Smells of some dark malts, acidic lambic quality, and black liquorice. Some Belgian dark quad qualities
Tastes acidic, with a balance of sweetness. Like a sour strawberry jam. Malty, dark quality, a hint of liquorice as well. Lots of hints of lambic qualities and a faint hint of damp lambic brewery.
Medium thick body with an acidic edge, and moderate carbonation.
Got on wishbeer, drank in CNX Sept 1st, 2016. Really loving the unique quality of this brew.

Triporteur's Kinky Berry, "full option fruit", brewed with baked blueberries, sour cherries, blackberries, apples, pears, baked barley, rye, spelt, wheat, buckwheat, and spices. 6.9% ABV.
A: Nice plum red/dark pink in the glass, with just over a finger of light pink head. Very faint sheeting. Decent lacing, with solid tiers. Honey-peach in the dimple.
S: Medium raspberry and light dark bread aromas dominate. Other bready notes that I'm unfamiliar with. Faint pear and blueberry. Sour cherry edge.
T/MF: More strange bread notes. Taste like a crushed grain to me, but I could be way off. Like gritty flour. Fruitiness is much more subdued, but still quite present. Sour cherry, blackberry, pear. Not very sweet. Seems like a nice compliment to lighter dessert breads, or vanilla ice cream. Not getting much in the way of spices. Not bad, though.
Poured from an 11.2 oz. bottle, into a Belgian tulip glass.

Ruby red brew with a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Wispy tracing. Aroma of fruit, honey, background grains. Tart, berry, cherry on the taste, background of malt in the aftertaste. Reminds me of a lot of Belgian lambics. Puckering, clean mouthfeel.
Fruit beers seems to be a love or hate thing, but if you're of the former mind this is a very good representation of the style. Would be particularly refreshing in the summer months, paired with light cheeses and olives.

The beer comes in a light strawberry red.
The aroma offers apples, blueberry, blackberry, fruity syrup, adult fruit roll ups.
The flavor hits of tart apples, berry seeds, a medium biscuity malt, onto more acidic apple peel and pear. The sweetness up front is balanced by a light acidity of fruit, which then moves onto a dry finish.
