Aromas of citrus and melon with hints of white pepper tantalize the nose of this delectable IPA. “Willow Wolves” is delicately balanced with hints of caramel and slight bitterness of grapefruit rind and pine on the finish.

Hazy dark amber gold with a thick frothy off-white head that left rings of lacing.
Light notes of peppery citrus on the nose and palate. Hint of caramel.
Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Nice dry grapefruit rind finish.
A little sparing on the hops. Still, it's good.

Trying the Willow Wolves at the Courtyard James Republic restaurant in Long Beach. It poured a clear deep copper with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent is faint pine. The taste is bitter leaning with some pine and citrus presence. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok.....Worth a try......why not!

Bottled on 7/15/15.
Pours a hazy dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small patches of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and earthy hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that still has lots of juicy citrus forward hop qualities even though it's almost 3 months old at this point.

Pours two fingers of head on a hazy light straw body.
The aroma is lots of grapefruit and a little pine. Nice.
The taste is moderately pine and grapefruit bitterness throughout, a little malt comes through too.
The texture is crisp.
It's enjoyable.
