September 19th, 2015 - These coffee flavored ales are less diverse than I would like, especially as I learn to try new and fancy coffees and appreciate them over the regular drinks one orders at Starbucks or pumps for free from conference room catering jugs. This has a nice coffee color to it, and does smell like coffee, but plainly and simply. The body is lighter than I expected, and offers a burst of carbonation up front to give the coffee notes some lift, but this swiftly disappears into the mid taste.
