A IIPA that is far from a NE style IIPA; the anti haze beer! This IIPA is 100% 2-row malt and 100% Mosaic hops; it’s juicy, above the clouds, hoppy, crystal clear, pillowy soft, not bitter, and in your M-F’n face with hops! Keeping true to our West Coast/ABW style; this beer has a huge aroma and even bigger flavor: notes of melon, mango, pineapple, guava, and cannabis.

The perfect blend of a west coast hoppy DIPA with an American DIPA best done IMO by Alchemist's Heady Topper. Aptly describe as "anti haze beer!" It has as much fruitiness as you want from a beer as an adult, just fruit blossoms rather than heavy juicy hazy fruit, plus the bitterness and balanced flavor I look for in the best west coast IPAs. Like a beer grounded in Bell's Two Hearted Ale but modernized and stylized for subsequent generations. I started drinking Heady Topper first more than a decade ago, and Juice Above the Clouds for around 10 years now. I was married to Heady Topper this whole time, but it might have been Juice Above the Clouds who really stole my heart.

I cannot taste the juice. It’s got a a grainy feel that is a bit rancid and unpleasant. A very bad beer.

L - clear copper orange, no lacing.
S - fruity, pine.
T - sharp up front, fruity with a silky smooth, buttery finish.
F - moderate carbonation, medium mouthfeel, almost sticky, no alcohol burn despite relatively high ABV. Scary smooth.
O - given the high ABV this is not boozy, super smooth and very drinkable. Overall an excellent offering from Altamont Beer Works - perhaps my favorite yet.

Picked this up on the way to the 2019 Firestone Invitational. Meant to have this for the share, but we ended up never having it. Poured an amber clear color with two fingers of frothy white head. Lots of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Excellent uneven foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled Mosaic, Juicy Fruit, mango, guava, floral, pine, citrus, melon and pineapple. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted even better than the nose. Got Mosaic, Juicy Fruit, mango, guava, pine, tangerine rind, citrus peel, pineapple and melon. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just an awesome Mosaic-based beer. (Overall - 4.25)

Can dated 05/21/19.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a glossy golden copper color with a fair transparency about it. A small sheet of head dissipated finely to leave some concave lacing.
The aroma had some orange blossom, danky sweet onion, grassy/weed hoppiness and some zesty sweet piney hops.
The flavor leaned into a blend of sweet to danky while subtly providing some smooth zesty onion backing. Aftertaste is danky sweet through grassy onion and weed to almost garlic-like character.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt good. Finish was crisp, semi-dry with a decent smoothness about it.
Overall, nicely done DIPA worthy of coming back to. And what's nice is that the danky weed character wasn't overdone as I tend to find in a lot of cannabis oriented beers.

Both leftpaw and myself really dug this beer. Pours a super clean golden honey color, firms up a 1/2" white head. Shit looks immaculate. The Mosaic hop is used solely, and massively, its a giant dankness of tropical fruit and weed all over this one.
Taste is delicious. Still bursting with all the tropical ganja hop flavor. It alternates between that dank humid equator region tree fruits and then the bone dry tempering of the lightly toasted two row barley. This shit is damn dangerous as it hides the alcohol better than anyone's business. It drinks so effortlessly. Its so light, nothing sticky or heavy about the malt bill, the only stickiness comes from these dank nugs they used for hops. This is top tier, elite, world class double ipa west coast product. I've had it multiple times, the consistency is always there, even the shelf life for this is a lot better that similar products. I'll pretty much always be down for buying at least one of these every time I see it.

Can. Beautiful CLEAR gold with small head and a little lace. Honey citrus tropical fruit aroma. Very sweet honey stone fruit and cereal with medium aggressive citrus rind stone fruit and resin bitterness. Slightly cloying with carbo bite. I thought it would be great. I am so sick of murkey IPAs, but alas, too sweet and cloying.
