Great tasting beer in which I had it a couple of time; no over powering of flavors and must admit I am willing to taste this again on tap; as for can the flavor is altered.

Another interesting beer from TDB in California. Gotta love their spirit of adventure. I too got a boysenberry flavor and berries along with malt. This beer has a deep purple tinted amber color that makes people look. Well, look and try this one folks. This beer has medium carbonation, a soft and balanced feel. A great option if you are into pairing beer with desserts.

Poured a copper/amber color into a hefeweizen glass; a small head that dissipated after a few minutes. Aroma was of boysenberry jam on wheat crackers. Flavor was more like somebody added grape juicebox to a nondescript wheat ale. Not bad, considering it could have been a disaster.

Pours a purple tinted amber color with a slightly off white foamy head. Smells of berries and citrus. Tastes of berries and sweet malt. Feel is soft, smooth, medium carbonation and balanced. Overall a decent and refreshing fruited beer. Imagine Abita Purple Rain just a little more rich overall. Cheers!

First review on a Juice box beer that is not even on the Dude's website! Crazy stuff so lets start off:
The appearance is an amber orange color that is very hazy and has a nice finger and a half of a creamy white head.
The smell is a faint smell of sweet berries mixed with a bready smell. Think King's Hawaiian bread with berries.
The taste is of creamy wheat malts with a touch of sweet berries coming through. Seems to have a bit of peppery pop on the tongue as well. Not sure if this is part of the flavor profile or the carbonation. Nice flavor overall.
Not a medium mouth but not light either. So I guess it falls somewhere in between? Does seem a bit slick on the finish and gets a bit sticky as it warms.
As the brewery says on the can, a nice wheat beer with a berry addition. I have had several wheat beers with the addition of fruit of some sort. This one really feels like a real nice wheat beer, smooth in profile, was given an injection of berry juice. One small gripe is that I like the berry flavor and could have done with more of it. Overall nice job from The Dude's. One gripe from BA is the ABV is listed at 4.9% and the can states it is actually a 5.4% ABV.
