12oz can bb 12/19/17 poured into a can glass at fridge temp 8.3% ABV 100 IBU. The beer pours bright orange amber in color with khaki head. The head recedes to a thin cap and ring leaving some lacing behind. The aroma is big grapefruit with a little caramel thrown in. The taste is sweetish caramel, pine and citrus rolled up together with an earthy bitter finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, adequately carbonated and mostly dry in the finish. There is some hop oil presence in the finish that keeps it from being truly dry. Overall, very good and maybe the best beer brewed in Evansville.

Appearance: Pours a fairly clear, coppery body with over an inch of off-white suds.
Smell: A light hint of pale malt simmered in pine sap with a swirl of alcohol.
Taste: Modestly toasted grains given a thin, thin veneer of golden syrup for a very fast, very fleeting sweetness, as a heavy dose of bitterness, a taste of pure citrus pith, cauterized pine twigs and a rather warm alcohol presence.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Even for a double IPA it's grimly bitter and feels a bit hot.

Cloudy bronze color with two fingers of near-white head that leave decent lacing.
Light citrus, peach, pepperiness and even floral Noble-style hops in the aroma.
More piney and peppery up front in the taste, with a flash of pineapple sweetness mid-palate and strong, West Coast-style bitterness in the aftertaste.
Medium to heavy bodied for the style with decent prickliness to the feel.
Overall, a pretty solid brew. April 30th best-by.

Pours a slightly hazed amber with 3+ fingers of beige colored head. Pretty good lacing & head retention
S: Cakeyness, catty hops,
T: Catty & dank hops mix with breadyness & dryness up front. Caramel, woody & herbal hops, just a kiss of grapefruit, plus more dryness as this warms, plenty of cattiness. Finishes with grapefruit, a little caramel & cakeyness, plus herbal & woody hops
MF: Chewy, firm carbonation, pretty good balance
Pretty drinkable, abv is well disguised, worth a try especially if you like them sorta dank

Poured from the tap into a tulip glass. The appearance is a semi clear golden orange with a small white head. The aroma is a mild citrus hop aroma. The taste is hops and some citrus with a big bitter aftertaste.

Appearance: Deep red-amber in beautiful Carson’s glassware at the brewpub.
Aroma: Lovely tropical and pine notes.
Taste: Rich and potent hops here, tropical and bitterness abound, with just a hint of the alcohol. This is a delicious IPA, and one I’d gladly have again.
