Appearance: Dark brown amber in Carson’s glassware at the bar. Light off white suds and virtually no lace.
Aroma: Citrus hops with maybe a hint of roasty malts. Definitely not bad.
Taste: More of the citrus hops, with a good deal of bitterness. I also got a roasty chocolate tone from the malts. Again, the bitter kicks in here making this one a tasty and enjoyable, but not perfect black IPA.
