Poured from an undated 22 ounce bottle. It pours a thin, transparent brown color with a very short lasting tan head and no lacing. The smell is interesting. It's a mix of sweet vanilla, malt, and nuttiness. The taste is pretty typical brown ale with lots of nuttiness and roasted malts. I'm having a hard time picking out the vanilla but it's subtly there underneath. The mouthfeel is very thin with medium carbonation. Overall, this needs more vanilla and probably a higher abv than 5% for a bit more depth. It's easy to drink and not unpleasant, but lacks depth, complexity, and thickness of expect from a brown ale.
