This is a really enjoyable beer. I was very glad to see it on tap, as a micro brewed ESB is a somewhat rare style. The color is a cross between a darker Pale and an Amber. The beer has a much fuller body than a Pale and has more hop flavor than an Amber. There was a thin white head and it left some great lacing on the glass, not just rings but a nice pattern. The flavor was spot on for me, it had a medium-heavy pale malt backbone with some mild bitterness. A great balance, I hope they keep making this one.
