12oz brown bottle, sample from the brewery.
Brilliant clarity, lovely lacing all the way down the glass. Cotton candy, powdered clove, chalky yeast, ripe pears, and peppery alcohol in the nose. Just enough crispness to make this beer pop, clean and fruity with phenol undertones. Clove and bandaids, peppery and biscuity. Yeast and a mildly warming alcohol in the middle. Fruity and spicy in the finish.
A tasty "Belgian", very well done ... could very easily stand up to its counterparts.

Enjoyed on-tap at the Old Rail, served in a Belgian-style tulip.
Appearance: Pours a nice hazy golden blonde with one finger of foamy white head that fades to a delicate lace.
Smell: Belgian yeast, pine, grass, and some citrus sweetness. Some lemon, a bit of apple as well.
Taste: Lots of citrus fruit and more of the Belgian yeast, some tartness and hoppiness also with earthy notes.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate bitterness and solid carbonation for the style, goes down easily.
Overall: I enjoyed this beer very much and it is a great offering from this young brewery.
