A West Coast style IPA but in the South! The best.

Had this for the first time at Zapp's Beer Fest and was blown away at how solid this was. Now I'm going to have to make a trip down to Mandeville and check out their brewpub. It's unfortunate they aren't bottling right now. This would be a standard in my fridge for an everyday go to IPA. Well done.

This is one of the best "everyday" IPAs that I've had. I'm from Oregon and this is by no means a "big" IPA, but fun and drinkable all the same. Moving from Oregon to Louisiana I will say that this is the best brewery in the state IMO.

Had this on tap at the Old Rail Brewing Company.
Appearance: Deep amber with a small whitish head that fades quickly, leaving solid lacing.
Smell: Citrusy with some sweet malt and hints of grapefruit. Not as hoppy smelling as many American IPAs.
Taste: Nice citrus notes and hop character with earthy and piney notes.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and smooth with solid carbonation. Very easy drinking and not too bitter.
Overall: This is a good IPA, but not great. Something I would definitely drink again.
