Pours a clear golden color with generous foam. Pungent fresh hop nose, with lots of green grassy notes on the sip as well. It’s a light, almost delicate, showcase for the seasons hop harvest.

Received from Woemad and enjoyed on 10/25/22
Poured honey gold with a straw color head that left regular lacing.
The aroma was more fruit forward than I expected, the barley rounds that out and pine just gets hinted at.
The taste started smooth, balanced between biscuit and mango and some floral touches. Odd I thought, an IPA literally from the west with no pine? Ah, it builds. By the time I was halfway through the piney hops took over and the rest took up support roles.
The feel was ideal for the genre, much to quaffable, I could drink this by the liter.
OA, darn good beer!

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 9/13/22 into an IPA glass.
Look- Straw, large visible particulate, active carbonation, sudsy white head, very mildly hazy, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Dank, pine resin, lemon, strong strength of scent.
Taste- Pine resin, lemon, herbaceous, strong strength of flavor.
Feel- Between thin and medium body, mildly prickly, high bitterness, moderately creamy, mildly dry finish, very mild astringency, average carbonation.
Overall- Wonderful look with great head retention and lacing. Bouquet was a very nice mix of dank/pine/citrus. Flavor was great and as expected from the aroma. Feel was slightly thinner than expected. Overall this was a delicious fresh hop offering.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a fine, one finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale and lightly caramel malt, citrus hops, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, mild mixed berries. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and piney hops, grapefruit, lemon, pine, some light floral notes and a touch of dankness in the finish with solid fresh hop finishing bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess. An excellent West Coast leaning fresh hop IPA with solid citrus and pine flavors as well as fleeting fruit and floral notes and some lingering dankness and pine in the finish. Once again, my fresh hop of the day is my favorite one so far. Not a surprise from these masters of hops.

A-standard amber, very clear, modest head
S-grassy, a little malt essence
T-grapefruit, pine, and the true-to-style "vegetal" palate. The flavor profile that hit me just now is arugula. A little sweeter than expected, and not quite as bitter as expected
M-Medium (-) body, average carbonation, oily resinous dry finish
O - Another can't miss from Bale Breaker. If anyone could do a world class fresh hop, Bale Breaker would be the place.

16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Can is dated SEP1322. Actually bought this as a single at Total Wine the other day.
Pours clear honey gold with about a finger of head and light carbonation. Smell is powerful, tons of fresh hop character, honeysuckle sweetness and citrus zest.
Taste is fresh hop west coast IPA. Bright pine and lemon zest with a resinous piny bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is light, clean, dry. Overall, this is a quite good fresh hop IPA.

Goddam it. Just accidentally deleted my review.
Anyway, 16oz can purchased up the hill at Huckleberry's for $3.69. Canned on September 13 - 4 days ago.
Description from BB:
"Here in Moxee, WA, September means harvest: coordinating with the barley maltster as the fruity, herbal smells of fresh hops being cut and kilned waft in our windows. Now in our third season as barley farmers and 90 years after the first hops were planted on our family farm, we're proud to share with you this Homegrown IPA featuring our homegrown hops and barley with a generous addition of freshly picked Simcoe® hops. Notes of ripe lemon, grapefruit, blueberry, pine resin, and fresh-cut grass."
Poured a perfectly clear golden amber. Good sized, sudsy off-white head. Lots of lace.
Grapefruity, stone fruity and piney in the nose. Crackery malt aroma.
Tastes much like the nose suggested it would. Grapefruity and berry-ish up front. Gets piney and finishes crisply dry. Just what you want out of a FH WCIPA.
Medium bodied, with a crisp, slightly oily mouth feel.
If you dig the idea of a WCIPA brewed with fresh Simcoe, this will be a wise purchase. Kinda bummed there weren't any more on the shelf. Otherwise, I might be shipping one out. Maybe I'll find some more.
