Served in 12oz teku. Poured a solid black color with a bout 3/4 inch of tan head that had good retention and low lacing.
The aroma featured some nice yeasty spice over a solid grain base.
The flavor profile was the same, yeasty spice up front, nice spice all across, and, in a pleasant surprise, a wee touch of smokiness on the finish.
The body was medium-ish for the style, perhaps a touch on the light side, and had a pleasantly dry finish.
Drinkability was very nice, it was easy and pleasant to drink, and I can easily see having more. Overall, a very nice brew. worth trying if you see it.
