We dry hopped this kettle-soured IPA with Citra, Simcoe and Palisade for a juicy mango-grapefruit flavor and aroma. Sourness takes the place of bitterness in balancing out the sweetness of the malts.

1 PINT can
Served in an oversized wine glass
This beer pours a hazy amber with burnt orange highlights. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves very little head.
The smell is a great blend of tropical fruit and grapefruit with a nice tart aroma.
The taste begins with tropical fruit. The tartness quickly comes in. Then comes the grapefruit with a grapefruit, tart finish. The flavors all work well together.
Medium mouthfeel with low carbonation
This is a tasty, refreshing beverage. The finish is just dry enough for me to crave another sip as soon as I finish the previous one.

Pours a glossy golden orange that really shines in the glass; a big, white head caps off a beautiful-looking beer and leaves a nice amount of lacing around the glass.
Aromas of tartness and soft, briny salinity lightly shroud dense citrus notes of orange, apricot, grapefruit, and mango, along with some earthy black pepper as well.
Taste brings a nice tartness that enhances notes of fresh nectarine, peach, mango, apricot, grapefruit, and a bit of minerality and maltiness on the finish; perhaps somewhat toned-down for any one flavor to shine through, but everything in the profile is balanced and approachable.
Mouthfeel is backed primarily by a grapefruit juice-inspired tartness that remains smooth and relatively clean; in spite of the acidity, carbonation isn't washed away, and in fact sticks around long enough to give a nice, even body through to the finish.
This was a solid tart IPA; maybe a little too balanced for it's own good, it hangs it's hat on its more refreshing qualities rather than being an outright flavor bomb. An approachable sour-style IPA for a hot day.

16 oz can poured into pint glass canned on 5/11/18
A: Not much of a Head to speak of body is a copper amber color that is fairly hazy.
S: Lots of grass and light crackery malts
T: fairly tart, lots of muddled flavors a little fruit maybe some mango and pineapple and grass but mostly just an acidic sour taste that is kind of malty.
M: medium bodied with low carbonation. Has a slightly bizarre chalky finish.
O: This is really average. It’s really a muddled beer that doesn’t know where it wants to go.

Love the can design and font, one of the better Seventh Son labels. Great logo, but let's be honest, most of their bottle art design is boring.
Not much aroma to speak of, maybe a little dry hop and grapefruit. Taste is straight grapefruit tartness. The can art pretty much nails the flavor for you... If you like grapefruit juice, you'll love this. I do enjoy it, but not something I'd buy frequently. Regardless, Seventh Son has a bright future. I'm excited to see what they can do with different yeast strains, dry hopping, and sours.

Cloudy orange-copper with a thin white ring.
Smell is biscuit, butter, and lemon marmalade.
I'm tasting something savory like black pepper, with balsamic peach vinegar.
Soft and dense, Goo Goo is tart for sure, but not sour or hot like full on vinegar. It drinks more oddly as it warms, almost thick and sticky, verging on being a Caribbean pork marinade. Yet, a consensus favorite, if not for novelty.
