On tap at the beer hall in PDX.
Deep brown color with tinges of amber coming through with the light. A slight Sandi head quickly settles forming a soapy ring. Decent retention. Slight soapy lacing.
Nose has a gentle, almost fruity, smoky note. Malt has a bit of a brown bread meats, gentle brown sugar.
Flavor definitely goes in direction of brown bread, round, earthy smoke, and a gentle fruity smoke note. A separate fruity note comes here as well cherry meets stewed apple.
Mouthfeel is a bit hefty. Finishes mildly bitter, smoky with a light tinge of a fruity click on the tongue.
