It tastes too much like a fake pineapple flavor, as opposed to a genuine pineapple flavor.

I was at my neighborhood church's monthly Attic Treasures rummage sale & knowing my buying habits, they steered me to some beer shaker glasses that had been donated. One of them was a Jack-O Traveler & I suddenly became inspired to finally add this one to The CANQuest (tm).
From the CAN: "Quite a Refresher!"
I did some in-CAN agitation before Crack!ing the vent open since it is, at base, a Wheat Ale & I wanted to ensure suspension of the adjuncts. I went with an inverted Glug for the first time in quite a while, giving in to temptation and wanting to see what would occur. It puffed up with over a finger of dense, foamy, tawny head that quickly reduced to wisps, leaving no sign of its having existed. Color was a cloudy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Nose smelled quite strongly of pineapple, but also with a kind of sugary sweetness. Hmm. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not watery, but not far from it. The taste was definitely pineapple, but it was still sweeter than I would have preferred or like it might have been if they had not added other adjuncts. Fortunately, I review to style, not to personal taste & it was definitely a Fruit Beer. I did not like it quite as much as Rivertowne's Hala Kahiki, but it was still quite quaffable, Finish tended to be semi-sweet, which reduces its refreshing nature, but so be it. I'd like to try a bottle of it sometime just for CANparison purposes.

A: Pours a murky medium bright golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright lemon yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense fizzy foamy bright white head that quickly reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of juicy tropical pineapple over the top of light aromas of caramel + wheat malts with a light hint of bubblegum.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of wheat malts with a light flavor of caramel malts and a hint of grainy sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of juicy tropical pineapple and a hint of bubblegum. Minimal amounts of grassy hop flavors are present and fade away almost instantly leaving a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly. Light amount of lingering tropical pineapple in the finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp.
O: Easy to drink, refreshing, and enjoyable with well hidden alcohol and a crisp light mouthfeel. I could easily have a couple of these and the pineapple flavor + aroma is pleasant but not overpowering.

A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a cloudy, bright golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is bursting with pineapple. Taste is pineapple, malts, juicy, highly refreshing. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is one of the best shandies of have drank.

Poured from the tap into a 20 OZ mug at the Taco Mac in Atlanta, GA. The appearance is a cloudy light gold color with a thick, large white head. The aroma is pineapple and spices. The taste is pineapple with a hint of sourness. A very nice shandy.
