Possibly my seventh in my first shipment from the Microbrewed Beer Club. And I'm impressed. It really does pay to have experts (instead of accomplished amateurs like me) shift through the 8,000+ micros in the U.S.
American Amber is a good example. I would not have found this brew from a young brewer in a Mid-Atlantic college town. But the Beer Club tasters decided this was a decent Amber and I get to check-off another micro and enjoy the brew.
What I like about Amber is it has a subtle use of hops, perhaps stronger than I prefer, but still subtle... lingering, but not overpowering. Hits the spot before dinner.
As for Brothers Craft and my micro-brew review... they haven't distinguished themselves yet. Surviving in a college town is not hard work for a micro... so Brothers should work on offering a little more variety to distinguish themselves other than just good beer: food trucks, etc (you know the repertory.) Also, the website is not too specific about what they do for the community... all good, but let's read about some grain recycling to farmers and even a solar panel.

Sample is a 12oz bottle dated 11-16-21. This is a poorly carbonated, off-putting amber ale that really didn’t do much for me in any capacity. Not recommended.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
