Appearance: Arrives with the cloudy amber liquid coated by a decent head that leaves plenty of lacing
Smell: Floral, with melon and pear tones and hint of ginger
Taste: Pear and melon forward, with some leathery funk building in the middle; the ginger arrives late and dominates the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Really interesting flavors in this beer; worth seeking out if it makes another appearance

16oz can poured into a tulip
Canned 8/10/17
A- pours a hazy golden color with a two-finger creamy white head that has good retention after the pour
S- earthy and yeast nose, with aromas of clove, basement must, light phenols, banana runts, biscuit malt, floral notes and ripe pear
T- peppery yeast up front gives flavors of clove with some phenolic notes. Mid-palate brings out some ginger that wasn't noticeable in the aroma. The finish is peppery and yeasty with just a hint of ripe pear
M-medium-light body with medium bubbly carbonation produces a big foamy mouthfeel and a crisp effervescent finish
O- solid example of a style that often goes unnoticed these days

On tap at the brewery.
Pours with an amber colored body that has limited clarity but a durable white head.
The aroma is quite fruity with hints of melon, pear, ginger, hops and biscuits. The flavor largely follows but has less ginger and adds initial sweetness, mild tartness and bitterness. Lively carbonation.
Good balance.
