Just a touch too much alcohol poking through the pine...

Never heard of this brewery, but I wanted to explore more about CT beers. I was more than pleasantly surprised, in fact I was a bit over whelmed.
Closing my eyes opening the can, there was that fresh strong grapefruit pine resin nose. Like a West Coast IPA or some of the outstanding East Coast IPAs .
The color was that nice orange hue, not too dark, not too light, like a nice summer sunset.
The aroma and bouquet was just about perfect for a true IPA drinker. Lots of grapefruit freshness along with a pine resin nose that filled your senses.
The first taste did even more. What you saw in the color, what you smelled in the nose, the mouthful was even better. A good degree of dryness, that long lasting bitterness and long long full aftertaste.
Loved this one.
