2015 version. This beer is very easy to drink. It is smooth and bright and not too strong in the abv. But for a wet hop ale it lacks any real hop character. Mild hops on the nose if any. And I really tried to find those wet hops and maybe came up with some melon notes. But that's it. Beer is almost devoid of any head, and maybe that’s why it’s so difficult to tease out any aromas. Taste is more sweet malty than hoppy, which is a hallmark of Shebeen brews. I am picking up a rye note in the taste too. Although I don't think it is brewed with any rye. It’s not off putting in any way, just an underachiever. Overall pretty quaffable. But lacks any definitive flavors.
