Light golden color with a 4F head in a Spielgelau IPA glass.
Very aromatic, floral, resinous, pine, nutmeg, citrus.
The MF is very smooth. Not much carbonation.
The aroma transitions well to the taste with nutmeg, pine, resinous, fruity,.
The hop profile, Falconers Flight https://www.morebeer.com/products/falconers-flight-hops-pellets.html
Works well with the NZ hop Green Bullet.

Will buy again. I will add this beer along with Jess from Hangar as a monthly purchase.

This has so much head on the pour, it took about 10 minutes to empty the can. The foam has thick peaks and takes its time dissipating. In the mouth, this beer feels light for a double IPA, despite being quite boozy. It's not particularly boozy or dank, but the hops have a nice bitterness towards the end. Just enough to keep you coming back.

DATE: January 27, 2019... OCCASION: watching Rent live on FOX with Shan--only heard the soundtrack a bunch of times previously... GLASSWARE: Duvel tulip.... the initial pour is a full five-finger head punch--a bit too carbonated at its start... once stasis is reached there, a three-fingered snow-white powder keg of bubbles solidifies into an iceberg-shaped crag... its dark orange-yellow body is nearly opaque but does reveal a solitary whirlpool of bubbles...this bullet is more like a bomb, speaking in hop terms, as its grapefruit, thick, sticky resin, and sharp mango plunge headlong into deep sweet bread malts--a war that the nose indeed wins... pineapple, papaya and other tropical tidings frame this as fruit cocktail--alluring....thick, chunky, chewy, and biting, this aptly named beer pounds the teeth and leaves a lengthy aftertaste... its 8.3% ABV doesn't register with its sip... the taste would be pure tropics--with lemon and melon thrown in--but the resin is thick and the low end balances it enough to keep it engaging throughout the mouth... its bitterness is a sweet draw, a ripe peach that warms as the can drains and continues to bring its intense fruitiness... more Shebeen will definitely be on my radar the next trip to the liquor store... fantastic...

Appearance: milky caramel in color with a 1/2" head that falls to a thin covering.

Smell: lemon zest and some mild tropical fruit are picked up by the nose.

Taste: caramel, lemon zest, mango pineapple, and a dank earthy bitterness.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp throughout.

Overall: an enjoyable DIPA that was satisfying.

Poured from undated 16 oz. can into tulip glass. It pours a cloudy, honey-tangerine color with over a full finger of fluffy, bright-white head and lacing that lasted through the pour. There's lot's of lemon, tangerine, and floral hops on the nose. The first thing I taste is a solid base of malt with tart lemon peel, a touch of sweet tropical fruit, and a blast of Mosaic hops that's bitter but not overly biting. It's very well-balanced. This ale is crisp, medium-bodied, with pleasant carbonation, and a punchy 8.3% ABV. I have to say that I'm very impressed with this NE style DIPA from Connecticut. It's the epitome of "solid". It would pair well with a pub meal or for casual drinking. I recommend it!

S: herbal with a bit of citrus in the background;

T: herbal up front; cat pee in the middle; back to herbal on the finish; moderate bitterness from the middle through the end;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: the flavor isn't especially inviting;

Found this at a local package store, within 10 days of canning. $10 for a 4-pack.

Nice DIPA with a crisp palette and finish, and slightly different flavors of the Green Bullet and Falconer's Flight hops varieties.

Keep 'em coming!
