Have never heard of this brewery before but it's apparently been around since about the time I started in craft in 2013.
Name and can text and images are clever and amusing. including a poetic stanza with "Our maiden taming of the brew."
Bought a lonely single because of the name and can art.
Poured from the 16 oz. can into a Tree House stemmed tulip.
a; Hazy dull orange with a huge two inch white head which receded to a good layer of surface foam and dense lacing.
s; Citrus leaning to orange.
t; Follows the nose but with flavor more muted than the aroma suggested. Moderate hop bite, dry finish with slight lingering bitterness. Later it seems to feature more pearlike notes.
m; Medium, good body and heavy carbonation tingle.
o; A pleasant session NE style IPA, really better than expected given the gimmicky name and can art and text. Only paid $2 for the can and after consuming it felt it had been a nice buy. One of the better session IPAs out there now, hope to see more.
