a: slightly hazy dark yellow and light orange color with a little bit of copper and amber. 1.5 finger frothy off-white head that fades quickly to a thin film
s: bubblegum, citrus, pear, onion, strawberry, fresh dough, apple, mango. a touch of funky pineapple. this doesn't smell bad, this just doesn't really smell like a NEIPA
t: onion, orange juice, sweet citrusy lemon, faint orange, and melon. a touch of sweet grains and pear behind that. fresh dough and grains close this out
m: medium mouthfeel with medium carbonation
o: well, it's not a bad beer, it's just not a good NEIPA. it tastes more like a wheaty saison. the only real hop note i'm getting from this is the Smicoe, but then it's earthy, grainy, and a touch funky. if this was labelled as a Saison, i'd enjoy it more..thus the rating
