Poured from a pint can into a chalice style glass. Huge head, very creamy - due to the lactose? Lots of lacing. the body of the beer is amber and clear. A sweet aroma. First sip has lots of sweetness, with some mild citrusy lemon coming thru, and just a hint of vanilla. Very smooth from the lactose. It's a novelty but one that I will only indulge in on rare occasions.

My first time trying one of these "milkshake" IPAs, but it looked interesting on the shelf so what the hell, it's probably pretty close to a NEIPA
Pours a very murky, hazy gold with some orange around the edges, a finger of white head that reduces to a cap pretty quickly
I'm getting those typical "juicy" NEIPA aromas of citrus, but it is backed up by a distinct sweetness from the lactose, almost like its taking over for malt
The taste is very soft, all classic NEIPA up front with minimal bitterness and a nice semi-sweet lemon character, but finishes very sweet due to the lactose, maybe even a little too much. It does impart a nice vanilla flavor tho
Pretty lively carbonated but a strange feel, heavier than need be
Overall not awful, but I'm not sure I'd seek out a milkshake IPA again unless somebody has one that will blow my mind
