Four-pack copped from Summit, NJ. Pours a mahogany brown hue with minimal frothing. Mellow aroma replete with hints of marshmallow and hazlenut. Similar overall flavor profile.

Shebeen Brewing Co. "Coco Tee"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
$4.49 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Look: The opaque dark brown body appears black in the full glass beneath a short head of creamy tan colored foam.
Smell: The aroma expresses bittersweet dark chocolate and roastiness.
Taste: The bittersweet dark chocolate and roastiness found in the nose return with additional notes of coffee, nuttiness, and some milk chocolate. There's some fruitiness to it as well. It's overall flavor is similar to a chocolate covered espresso bean. A moderate bitterness balances it, and along with an edge of roastiness it finishes dry for a chocolate stout.
Feel: Medium-light in body and gently crisp.
Overall: Shebeen tends to make a lot of dessert beers but this one is a little different. Rather than being a chocolate beer with stout as a base it comes across more like a stout with chocolate added. Worth trying.
