An interesting take on the German Kolsh style. The appearance was a hazy yellow with a lot of great hops to the smell. The taste was interesting with a very clean beginning and the shifting through the taste to a more mellow malty hop flavor and then a nice floral finish. Almost like a black and tan. I was very interested in the flavors. My only problem was that it was very heavy for a beer with nice light and clean flavors.

The German Cerveza is a twist on the Kolsch style with added agave nectar, which smooths and rounds out the beer giving it a clean sweetness.
Pours bright and golden with a 2 inch white head. Minimal lacing. Just a beautiful beer.
Aroma is clean, fruity and somewhat sweet. Grainy with a mild hop presence.
Taste is malty and grainy with minimal hop bight. Somewhat drying in the end, but not a 'hoppy' beer. The sweetness from the agave nectar is very evident. Not in a candy-like way though. It doesn't detract, but maybe a little less in future batches would be welcome.
Mouthfeel is, again, clean with a noticeable softness. Some might find the sweetness too much after one or two pours. But it is not cloying.
A very good beer.
