Poured into the pint glass chilled from the growler, this unique IPA shows a clear copper color with a solid white head and very nice lacing. The aroma brings a very pleasant citrus-leaf hop, bready and sort of light but plenty good. The taste buds get a tea leaf lemon hop with a light rye-malt. As you go, the hops change a bit to a more herbal and cabbage-like idea. The body is medium-light with a delicate but very adequate carbonation and frisky feel. A solid IPA that I think deserves one of the leading spots in the Shebeen line up.

A- This beer pours a beautiful clear golden amber with an ample pillow of fluffy cream colored head. You can expect good lacing for the duration of the glass. (Good- yet sloppy) Lacing is not uniform. You'll notice thick clumps of foam towards the top of the glass, gradually yeilding thinner "coats" as you go down. Precise "lines" are not present with each sip. Rather, foam coats the side of the glass. I kind of like this.
S- This IPA bears all the makings of a proper India Pale Ale. My nose was immediately greeted by piney hops, floral notes, and a soft sweet sugar.
T- Roasted malts, hay, and soft caramel sweetness are almost immediately overwhelmed by a piney hops finish, reminding you what your nose has already related- "you are drinking an IPA, here". Pine lingers long on the palate, mingled with an ever so slight sugar cane sweetness and hint of spice.
M- Carbonation is medium to high. This brew generates several columns of bubbles for most of the ride. It's kind of wonderful, actually. I'd place this beer around medium weight.
Overall, this beer is pretty satisfying. You get what you're looking for in an IPA, albiet without STUPID OVER-THE-TOP HOPS. Although, I don't consider myself to be a fan of IPA's- Shebeen might make me a believer!
