Another sub-par offering from Shebeen.

Poured from a growler
Color is dark amber with red highlights. Nice, thick white head, doesn't stick around too long.
Smells sweet, not much else noticeable
Taste is layered and complex - sweet and biscuity up front, with a bit of caramel on the tongue; follows up a little bit peppery and with some estery characteristics. A bit out of place for the style, but it's a very interesting flavor.
Mouthfeel is a bit drier than expected, and on the light side.
Overall a really interesting and refreshing beer. Definitely would purchase again.

Pours dark amber into Shebeen pint glass. Off white head, 1 inch and fading.
Smells of malt, and mild hops.
Taste is mild malt and hops. 13 IBU. Not a lot going on, but given the low alcohol content, it is respectably tasty. Very quaffable. A hint of caramel? Nice to be able to finish off the growler without getting hammered.
Mouthfeel is smooth, and light.
Everything about this beer is mild. However, it has a lot of flavor for the low abv. Great for summer, or sessioning.
