Liquid Riot Tropical Storm
4.8% ABV "Sour wheat beer with loads of tropical fruit"
Poured from pint can to tulip at cool cellar temp.
Pours a mostly clear burned pale golden color, with a touch of cloudiness. One finger of white head that quickly dissipates into nothing, not even a film. Poor, spotty lacing eventually makes its way down the glass.
On the nose, I get tart wheat and grain, huge passionfruit right up front, with aromas of guava, pineapple, tropical fruit salad, and maybe a faint touch of rose. A very subtle something that reminds me perhaps of grenadine.
Palate is tart wheat and pale grain with the same heavy passionfruit from the nose. The nose really tells you what you're in for. Same guava and pineapple notes, with vague assorted tropical fruits. The pineapple isn't a hoppy pineapple, it's legitimate ripe pineapple. Maybe a ripe strawberry touch, as well? Cherry? It's that same "grenadine" note I mentioned. There's also a nice minerally flavor with a faint salinity that really makes me want to call this a Gose. I'm going to say this is technically a Gose. The slightest wisp of bitterness, I'd say an IBU level of maybe 10. It's nice. Very enjoyable flavor profile.
Mouthful is light and crisp. Medium carbonation feels perfect for the style. Extremely drinkable and refreshing. It's definitely tart, but it's not puckeringly sour. I wouldn't even use the word sour for this one. It's enjoyably tart.
Overall, I enjoyed this one very much. It's nothing groundbreaking, and it didn't *blow my mind*, but I would say "exceptional" is an appropriate descriptor. It deserves it. It's great for a low ABV, highly refreshing, very tasty Gose, for when you want exactly that - something you can drink when you're thirsty and thoroughly enjoy, and get away with responsibly drinking a couple of them. I will buy this again.

It is a murky, orangish gold color. Kind of like an pineapple-orange juice mix. Pretty big fluffy white head.
Smells pretty sour when cold, but as it warms that diminishes. Lots of tropical fruit, and a little bit of salt water taffy.
A big blast of passionfruit. Almost tastes like grenadine does in a mixed drink with some cherry mixed in there. Also some pineapple and kiwi. A little bit of tartness, and a lot of lingering grain. Especially as it warms.
Tasty beer, and easy to drink. Overall I really enjoyed it. Would love to have some on the beach. That being said, objectively/technically, it is a little heavy on the fruitiness and could probably be a little crisper

If it didn't start off with a fluffy white head, I would say this beer looks like a glass of orange juice.
Lots of tropical fruit in the aroma.
Guava, mango, and pineapple taste. A touch of lime. Nicely tart.
Tangy, light mouthfeel.
A great breakfast beer.

12 oz can poured into pint glass no canned on date
A: Creamy tiny bubbly white head that settles to a film. Body is a bright yellow opaque color almost like orange juice.
S: Huge amounts of guava and passionfruit smack you right in the face a light bit of grain on the edges.
T: Huge amounts of Guava and passionfruit pineapple nicely tart finish
M: Creamy thick almost like drinking a tart smoothie
O: It is a very tasty beer, but it almost borders on a cocktail. I know craft beer has blurred a lot of lines as to what a beer should be but when something drinks like a smoothie I am starting to think, is that really a good beer? Very tasty though, if you don't like beer I think you might love this.

Poured from a can into a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, opaque, orange coloring with a tall, fluffy, bubbly, clingy, off-white head. Looks like orange juice. Aromas of tropical fruit all over, with notes of kiwi, passion fruit, pineapple, mango, papaya, cherries, and melon. Sour hints, but overly tropical sweet nose. Flavors are insanely fruity forward, heavy on melon, cherry, and pineapple, with a toasted grain backbone, and then a solid bolt of puckering sour at the back of the palate. Wow, this has a tart and sour kick of lemon juice and white grape must. Very tasty. This is a pretty interesting flavor profile. The body is light, smooth, and slightly acidic, with a tropical fruit cocktail aftertaste, slightly heavy on the cherry. The finish is light and smooth, but quickly dries out, with a slightly acidic build. Very unique and damn tasty beer!
