Bottled 1/2020, consumed 5/2022. Brett and Brennevin hiding, but juniper still apparent. Starts sweet, end sour (mildly).

Liquid Riot Bottling Co. "Vinlandic"
16.9 fl. oz. brown glass bottle, "BOTTLED JANUARY 2019"
$8.37 @ Kunda Beverage, King of Prussia, PA
Look: Clear copper colored body beneath a standard-sized head of off-white foam. Average head retention with limited lacing.
Smell: Herbal, woody, musty, and earthy. Notes of wet straw, leather, wet wood, and dull pine.
Taste: Not surprisingly, it tastes very much as the aroma suggests it will be. The malt is bready, lightly sweetish, and lightly caramelish. Everything found in the aroma remains with the addition of some bruised apple and a touch of yeasty spiciness. The alcohol is well hidden. It's mildly bitter but tart and still mainly dry in the finish with plenty of herbs, wood, grass, and earth.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: It's quite a unique and interesting beer with a lot of character but it doesn't quite come together as a whole. Still, it remains enjoyable and is well worth trying.
