Hazy amber brew with abundant foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Pleasantly lush and frothy mouthfeel. Citrus aroma with lemony notes and tangerine nose. Tastes of yeast, orange peel, and bark. Moderate murk factor with some acidity but still drinkable. Astringency in the aftertaste. This is not my idea of a "regular" IPA but it may not be quite the New England. But it's still kind of gunky. From the 16 oz can dated 22176 (June 25). This 2022 version is 6.6 percent.

16oz can served in a nonic glass. Can is coded 20192.
Look- Hazy darker straw color. Solid bright white head that recedes to a thick foam cap, pretty good lacing. Moderate carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Citrus (orange/tangerine and grapefruit flesh, lemon and lime zest), goose berry faint mango, doughy malt, resinous pine and other herbal/grassy hop notes.
Taste- Similar to the aroma, citrus and tangy goose berry, light mango, bready malts followed by pleasant bitter pine and grassy/herbal hops. Well balanced.
Feel- Medium/light bodied, dry and crisp. Moderate/heavy carbonation on the tongue.
O- A pretty solid WC style single hop Citra IPA, nothing over the top but nice. Worth checking out if you see it.

Schooner poured at the brewery.
Pours clear golden with a small head and medium carbonation. Smell is more resin than anything else.
Taste is heavy resin, but definitely some orange and lemon zest.
Mouthfeel is light and dry. Overall, good.

I have a can of Citra IPA in front of me, which I think is the same beer, although the can says it's 6.5% abv and the listing shows 6.7%. If that's a correct understanding, I would basically corroborate my previous review, although I might give the smell higher marks.
