from notes.
Hazy, golden orange. No head.
Some musty, funky notes upfront, tart, acidic fruit, oaky vanilla finish.
Medium body, very low, to no carbonation, but it works with this one.
A tasty sour beer. It certainly leaves me looking forward to trying more from this brewery.

Mildly hazy orange with no head. Nose is the classic de Garde funk. Earthy, dirty , musty, yeasty barrel character with prominent gin aromatics - juniper in particular with some citrus. Sourness is moderate, mostly lactic and a little vinegary. Citrus aromatics are closer to citrons - bright and fragrant. Solid. Palate is sour, dirty, yeasty and messy but nicely so. Gin like bitterness to go with lemongrass acidity, this is unique. Earthy, sour, some mild mushroom character. Medium light in body, moderately sour, this finishes lactic, citric and with spruce and juniper. Yum.
