750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Clear deep golden body. Medium white head. Smells very de Garde-y. Strong yeast aroma. Oak. Grapefruit peel. Ginger and some herbal aromas that make me think of a gin barrel. Taste is heavily oak and a little bit winey. Lemon tartness. Musty grape fruitiness. Medium body with high carbonation. Not De Garde's best, but a pretty nice sour.

375 at the brewery.
Off white head. Copper hued gold color.
Tastes of sherry barrels, green apple skins, and lemons. Tart and a bit sour/acidic. A touch of funk here. Slight hint of sweetness. Oaky. White grape notes.
Very underrated dG. One of my favorites from the weekend! Complex.

Included as an extra in a trade. Appears like a white Zin, rusty red and clear, hefty amount of carb that dissipates quickly. Kind of like a heavily fruited beer that's a tad on the old side. Smells heavily of gin, citrus peel-I'm thinking lemon and ginger. Dry and puckering but not unpleasantly so. Citrus, gin and ginger are definitely present on the palate. I'm not sure when this was brewed but it's definitely getting old and it seems the flavors are fading. If you're holding one of these I would drink it. Carbonation fades rather quickly. Overall this is a very good beer. If you're a fan of gin, ginger and citrusy sour beers you will enjoy this.
