The beer is a nice bright medium red. White head. Very fresh berry aroma, kind of an interesting almost seafood-ish vegetal flavor that I quite like. Big, bright berry pie-ish. Medium pucker. Solid fruit taste. Definitely captured fresh boysenberry flavor perfectly; it's just a bit of an odd berry. Dry and medium sour. Not as puckery as some de Garde beers. Solid stuff.
