Thanks to Thomas & Jenny for sharing!
Dark purplish crimson, creamy dollop of pinkish foam on top. Lots of lacing and some lasting coverage after a few sips.
Aroma is funky and acidic, wet wood and cranberry. It has a nice wild complexity, wet hay and wood notes blend well with the acidic fruit.
Taste is somewhat extreme, very sour and acidic, puckering immediately. Cranberry and currant notes are at the forefront, sour juice impression, with some tannic wet wood notes in the aftertaste lending a tiny bit of balance.
Light bodied, somewhat thin and juice-like, well carbonated at first. Overall it's good, definitely refreshing as an apertif, though best shared due to the high acidity.
