A spontaneous wild ale blended from multiple years and barrels, and refermented in secondary oak casks with beautifully fragrant and flavorful Montmorency and Morello cherries. The beer was then transferred a third time onto the additional ingredients before the fourth and final transfer into blending tanks for packaging. This is certainly a labor of love, and we hope it shows.

Draft at de Garde anniversary. Deep ruby pour, pinkish ring of foam. Aroma and taste are heavyon the tart cherries. Sweet, natural flavors, lots of yeasty funk.

Dark ruby red body with a pink cap. Tart and sweet cherries with sour oak, bretty funk and basement musk, with hints of vanilla, lemon peel, old dry earth, boysenberry skins, and minerals. Taste has the huge funk up front, cheese cloth added to the brett and basement, complex oak and cherry interaction carry the rest of the way, getting vanillins, minerality, and earthy pith. Feel is tart and funky with plenty of expression from the darker oak, medium bodied. Sneaky complex

Bottled May 2019. Thanks, Sam.
A clear deep reddish pink with a light pink head that falls off rapidly, this looks solid. The nose has a rather spectacular sour cherry character, bright , tart and with a noticeable almond skin character that's complemented quite excellently by the cinnamon. Vanilla adds depth and a soft sweetness to round out the nose. The base beer is clean and bright with a lemony sourness and a light earth note. The palate opens bright and sour with a clean lemony base with lemon peel complementing the deep cherry flavor. Vibrant tart cherries with mild pit flavor are present along with notes of almond, lightly toasted cinnamon and with the vanilla complementing the oak and pit vanillin notes. Sour on the finish with a clean lemon note with just a little lactic character, this is a little light on the palate, and a little watery. Adding the yeast adds a little more structure to the palate. Reminiscent of a freshish Lou Pepe Kriek.

Pure Ruby color. Poured with off white head. Nose is cherry, vanilla, warming sensation from cinnamon, cinnamon, slight minerality. Taste follows the nose. Cherry, vanilla, cinnamon, tart bite at the end from the cherries but the warming sensation of the cinnamon and sweetness from the vanilla rounds the taste. Feel is very effervescent, my opinion slightly over carbed. But it is light and great cold or warm weather wild. Overall, the nose and taste are great! Almost like a cherry pie!
