Very enjoyable. Juniper is relatively moderate- the centerpiece but not an unwanted passenger. Floral notes abound, mild-moderate lemon acidity, solid leather astringency and oak. Fairly dry, lighter bodied, crisp and lively carbonation.

Bottle from Wildwood Taphouse.
A clear orange with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is a gorgeous expression of gin, fruity, citrusy, mildly spicy, botanical-rich along with a classic de Garde rich funk with wet hay, tannins, dried mushroom. The palate opens with floral gin, dried orange, a soft honey like sweetness and a really mellow acidity. Moderate oak and tannins follow with vanillin, earth, wood, deep and rich. A really lovely rich ,juicy feel. Mild acidity with lots of funk. Drying, mildly lactic on the finish with oak, gin, mushrooms. Impressive.
