Gusher alert.
The nose is a really excellent, harmonious blend of Armagnac, apricot and funk. Ripe, juicy apricots, fruity and bright, mildly jammy with mild pit tannins. The barrel presence is quite significant, wet, vinous and mildly tannic. The palate has a really nice funk, earthy, mushroom like, complementing the Armagnac take nicely. The apricots are rich and fruity, working in the mid-palate. Moderate acidity, at the limit of my tolerance. Excellent stuff.
