Pours a clear golden copper with half a finger of foamy head that dissipates to a thin ring with a little lacing. Funky citrus earthiness. Taste of funky grape and orange peel. Very, very nice.

Bottle from the source.
A clear copper with a thin but dense white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is glorious Tilla-funk. A blend of grapefruit peel, earthy, dusty forest floor, soft yet rotting oak. The brightness is on point. Soft vanillin. Subtle parm and blue cheese. The palate opens with a quenching acidity, citrusy and bright, with oily orange peel, Seville oranges, followed by funk. Earthy, mushroomy, mildly leathery, this is so rich and deep. While the de Garde house character is clear, the differences are in the margins, which makes this a fascinating beer. Gorgeous texture with the acidity, oils and vanillin offset by the carbonation. Notes of salty, briny sharp cheddar, mild Parmigiano-Reggiano and a little blue cheese funk. Oak lingers in the finish with a gentle, structural tannic character. Majestic
