This lightly foggy yellow-gold beer with a fluffily level head like a white comforter is my second pour of the day, graciously offered while standing in line for the longest of them all to kick off Good Vibes, Moksa's DB Pastry Mode (meh).
Though the nose most certainly, especially after time, delivers a hint of their surrounding pastures, this features a little less funk than the Saison Bernice before it. What's on showcase here is tons of sweet, drippingly juicy and bright peach, while the vanilla provides a subtly minimal accent, undefined in any specificity.
As surprised as I was at Bernice's funk, I am just as surprised at this exhibiting less funk than is typical for the funkiest of all American "lambic" producers.

Pour at de Garde 10th Anniversary. Golden pour with abundant foamy white head. Arom is stone fruit, peaches, hint of cinnamon. The vanilla comes out in the taste, pairing with the peaches and cinnamon for a peach cobbler vibe. The usual de Garde funk and pucker too. Very good.
