Richly vinous with a mineral bite, probab from the amphorae? Light fruits, plums, berries, jammy, moderate tannins. Arguably less spicy than other red wine grape beers, though there's a light cinnamon and anise character. Initially briskly carbonated, as it breathes, this grows slightly brooding. Lovely.
