Our Double India Wild Ale, spontaneously fermented with our local yeast and bacteria in Old Tom gin barrels. Copious amounts of Citra and Polaris hops provide a strong aroma and flavor with a balancing bitterness.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Murky orange. Small head. Gone quickly.
Smell - Pungent hop and acidity. Orange and grapefruit. A little funky.
Taste - Hoppy flavor up front. Grapefruit. Very bitter. Citrusy sourness.
Mouthfeel - Moderately sour. Medium body.
Overall - Very tasty and a dramatic improvement over the last De Garde beer I had, Bu Weisse.

Pours a very cloudy, murky dark golden orange color with almost brown edges and a one finger, yellowish-beige head that quickly settles into lasting ring Sporadic spotty lacing left behind.
Really earthy, musty aroma with an interesting combination of resnous oil, piney hops and musty wild yeast. Very funky and sweaty with damp oak, grass, pine needle, brett-y bugs and subtle lactic cheesiness. I shouldn't like the way this beer smells but it's somehow really appealing.
Medium body with resinous, grassy pine flavor along with prominent musty brett and other funky bugs. Very dry and sticky with hops and funky yeast notes really coming through. Subtle lactic cheesiness and some sweet tropical fruit on the back end. More sweetness as the palate adjusts. Aggressively flavored, complex and well balanced. I'm looking forward to trying more stuff from this brewery.
