From a growler
Clear golden amber, with substantial, long-lasting, off-white head, that leaves 2 fingers of lacing.
Smell is peach, charentais melon, light honey, and roses (myrhh+ tea rose fragrance) , and some saltine cracker.
Taste is is tangerine, pine , and a little grapefruit pith, balanced with the semi-sweet, honey-on-toast flavor, of bready malt. Moderate, mouth-puckering bitterness throughout .
Feel is light-medium, lightly creamy, becoming slightly oily, with fine carbonation, that provides a quick, sharp tingle on the tongue.
Overall, a nice old-school DIPA. Worth a try.
