Received a growler of this for xmas.
Pours a nice blonde hue with a thin head into my glass.
Herby and fruity in the nose. My brother thinks it's similar to gose. It just smells like rooibos tea to me.
Taste is a hybrid of fruity, herbal tea and a very light and crisp ale base. It works in the mouthfeel.
Clean and slightly floral finish. I admit that I didn't like the first pour but it feels right now.
14th Star appears to be branching out with some innovative brews lately. This is well worth a try while it's still on tap.
