Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a cloudy body with some lacing. Nose of tropical fruit and citrus with a bit of floral notes as well. Tastes of sweet citrus (orange) and tropical fruit (mango.) Really, really nice. Nice feel and overall, at 3 months old, this has held up real well and as previous reviews stated: make this again. Cheers!

I could wax on about this taste or that kind of citrus fruit, but the point on this beer is its the best thing to have come out of 14th Star. Better than Tribute. Way better than B72. This needs to be brewed again. And again. And again. Just had my last of the 4 pack. How long until the next one?

I've had about 10 of these now. Seems to only get better.

Pours a hazy, almost turbid gold color with plenty of white, fluffy head. Definitely looks like a New England IPA.

Smell is pure fruit goodness. I would say grapefruit is the dominant aroma with a touch of orange. Has that yeasty bubble gum smell as well. Not getting any malt aroma at all.

Taste is very much grapefruit with some citrus peel as well. Finishes with a fruit candy sweetness that I love.

Mouthfeel is spot on for a NE IPA. Carbonation is perfect with very little bitterness. I might have preferred a little more IBU's, but I can certainly live with the bitterness as is.

Overall, this is an outstanding beer. Easily my favorite of the Make the Cut beers for the past few years. I would go as far as saying this is better than any of the 14th Star IPA's which is saying a lot, because I love Tribute and B-72. Well done!

Can to tulip.
The appearance was a pure thick hazy pale orange color. A finger's worth of white foamy head rimmed the top of the glass nicely and dissolved at a fair pace. Light lace wound around the edges.
The aroma had an immensely pleasurable blend of juicy peach flesh to mango tropical sweet juicy character. Pineapple, tangerine, blood orange, and lemon sweetness round it all.
The flavor yields to the juicy sweetness of the entire blend. Smooth sweet juicy aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps a touch to the fuller side. This one's mostly a sipper because of the juiciness playing out with a light but superb bitterness. ABV seemed to what was projected. Nice grab of bitterness grips with the exact harshness I wanted. Super juicy finish.
Overall, a New England styled DIPA exacting a moldable juicy bitterness that fit every curve and nook all around in it's complexities. Ya think I would have this again, you bet your ass I will!
